Physical reality is merely an illusion that exists only in our brain. What is real? And what makes it real? The term reality, in its widest sense, includes everything that is, whether it is observable, comprehensible, or self-contradictory by science or philosophy.
But what does that mean? Reality, by definition, is relative. So how does truth fit into all this? True Crime. True Value. True Love? True love only exists in movies. It takes 2 years to fall in love, get comfortable with each other, and fall out of love. Everything after that is a perpetual period of putting up with each other’s shit until you cheat, leave, or kill your partner.
How self-righteous are we to believe that soulmates exist? That we are fated to meet one person in this world who is your one and only someone. As if we have done something in life to deserve such an amazing gift. Fate isn’t real. Life is just a string of odd coincedences. You take the trodden path, or the road less traveled by. And you better fucking hope that there is a plane of higher existence.
Shit. If our world is it for us, we’re all in Hell. Or is life purgatory? It’s just a big waiting room. The risks you take and the trials and tribulations you subject yourself to will eventually open your mind and heart to the concept of something better.
So if reality is in your mind and life is what you make it, what are you waiting for? Take a fucking chance for once in your life. What are you afraid of?
